Past research

Earlier investigations of language, memory, aging and human reasoning helped shape the questions we ask today.

Alzheimer’s disease and aging

Earlier work examined interactions among language processing, memory, and semantic knowledge in aging and Alzheimer’s disease. Topics included discourse reference, sentence comprehension, and the production and comprehension of nouns and verbs.

Behavioral and computational approaches examined the contributions of memory limitations and semantic impairment to comprehension and production.
